Papers are in

     On Sunday, August 31, our mission papers were submitted to the LDS Church headquarters for processing.  We have been told that it will take 3-6 weeks to receive our call.  We can't wait.  It is an exciting time in our lives and we are having all sorts of feelings and emotions - all good.
     Many people asked if we put a preference as to the type of mission we would prefer to serve and the location we would like to serve in.  We chose not to make those preferences as we are willing to serve where we are most needed and do whatever the Lord needs us to do at this time.  We put January 1, 2015 as our availability date.  
     We view this mission as an opportunity to repay, in a small way, the Lord for the blessings he has given us through the years.  We will use this blog to keep you posted on what we are doing.
     So far, we have gotten our photo taken.  Haha.  And we had a great family reunion.
